Welcome to dotTON! This section will guide you through the initial steps of setting up your account and getting started with managing your .ton domains and subdomains.

1. Open @DotTonBot Telegram Mini-App
2. Connect your wallet

The first step to using dotTON is connecting your TON wallet. dotTON integrates with popular TON wallets, allowing you to securely manage your domains and transactions.

• Choose a Compatible Wallet: Ensure you have a TON wallet that supports WalletConnect or a similar connection method. Popular options include Tonkeeper, MyTonWallet, and others.
• Connect to dotTON: Navigate to the dotTON platform. Click the "Connect Wallet" button (or similar).
• Select your chosen wallet from the available options. Follow the prompts in your wallet to authorize the connection.

1. Go to your profile dashboard (find👤icon in header section) and choose “.ton Domain” tab

dotTON requires you to prove that you are the rightful owner of the .ton domain you wish to manage.

Locate the ".ton" domain you wish to monetize and click the "Monetize" button.

You will be redirected to the monetization configuration page.

1. Configure the following subscription settings:

• Renew Period: Select the renewal period (e.g., monthly, annually).
• Renew Price: Set the renewal price in TON.
• Change DNS Record Access: Choose who can modify DNS records:
  • Admin Only: Only the domain owner (you) can change DNS records.
  • User Only: Only the subdomain owner can change DNS records. (Note: Once set to "User Only," this cannot be changed.)
  • Both Admin and User: Both the domain owner and subdomain owner can change DNS records. (Note: Once set to this or "Admin Only" it cannot be changed to "User Only”.
• Sale State:
  • Closed (Default): Subdomain sales are disabled. You can still create subdomains for yourself by paying the network fee.
  • Open: Subdomain sales are enabled.

1. Marketing Your Subscriptions Promote your subdomain subscriptions through social media, community forums, and other channels. Highlight the unique benefits and value propositions of your subdomains. We will also promote exciting and useful domains or even more engagement domains in the fractionft channel. This provides an extra boost of visibility to selected domain owners. This promotion will be based on the quality and potential of the domain's subscription offering.
